The HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarship Programs are two of the largest programs in Georgia to help students fund their college educations. HOPE funds are lottery funded and administered by the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC).
A student's HOPE GPA is ONLY accessible through www.GAFutures.org.
Parents/Students: please create an account at www.GAFutures.org to view progress toward HOPE. You will need the student's social security number to create an account. You may also email your child's counselor to request HOPE progress information.
Counselors provide a HOPE status report to juniors during their junior individual meetings (HOPE GPA at end of the 10th grade year), and another HOPE status report to seniors during senior individual meetings (HOPE GPA at end of 11th grade year). A student's senior grades in their core academics matter and factor in to the student's final HOPE eligibility.
HOPE Scholars must graduate with a minimum of a 3.0 core grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale using the HOPE GPA calculation.
Zell Miller Scholars must graduate with a minimum of a 3.7 core GPA on a 4.0 scale and a 1200 SAT (Critical Reading and Math, combined from a single administration) score OR a 26 Composite score on the ACT from a single administration.
