SAT and ACT Testing

When you register for the SAT or the ACT online, you may select up to 4 colleges during your online registration to have your ACT or SAT scores sent automatically to those colleges for FREE. If you don't add these colleges at the time of registration, you will have to pay later to send your scores officially to a college for your admissions application.
NCAA requirement for students pursuing Division I-III Athletics: Use the code "9999" to have your official test scores sent directly to the NCAA Eligibility Center.
ACT and SAT Fee Waivers: if you are a JUNIOR or SENIOR and receive free/reduced lunch, you qualify for a test fee waiver. That means you can take the ACT twice for free, and the SAT twice for free during your junior and senior years without charge. Please see your counselor BEFORE registering for the tests online to receive your fee waiver.

Next Generation ACCUPLACER
- Mostly used for technical colleges
- ACCUPLACER tests your knowledge in math, reading, and writing.
- The academic advisers at your college/technical school will use your ACCUPLACER test results along with information about your academic background, goals, and interests to help you take courses that match your skill level and give you the best opportunities for success.
Seniors Applying to Lanier Technical College or Other Technical Colleges: You will need to contact your college for their ACCUPLACER testing schedule AFTER you have submitted a college admissions application.
9th - 11th grade students interested in Dual Enrollment through Lanier Technical College: please see your counselor to discuss your interest in dual enrollment. Placement testing on the Next Generation ACCUPLACER if needed will be scheduled at West Hall for you once you have completed the necessary steps and paperwork.
